Any time I get to head to the mountains, it’s a great day. I especially love visiting when all the fall colors are in full bloom. Luckily, for Amy and Michaels’s fall family session, they were showing off big time! We headed to the Grandfather Mountain area off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I’d say we found the perfect spot and were able to capture some incredible shots!

Amy and Michael are previous clients of mine, I was privileged to shoot their beautiful wedding! Anytime a client uses me more than once I can’t help but count my lucky stars. I’m so grateful they love me enough to keep coming back! This time, they brought their adorable dogs, Phoebe and Wi-Fi, along for their fall family session. I was smitten with their little neckerchiefs!

These two selected the perfect wardrobe for their session. The colors and the pattern of Amy’s dress could not have been more fitting for the setting. When there’s a lot of color in the background, it is always a nice contrast to wear some lighter neutrals as well. Both Amy and Michael wore some cream to pair with the other colors of their outfit and I loved how it turned out in their photos.
