It goes without saying that weddings are one of my favorite things to be a part of. You get to capture a love story right in front of your very eyes as a couple pledges to forever in front of their family and friends. Truly there aren’t many things that top it! With that said, photographing Jessie and Matthew’s equestrian farm wedding at Southern C’s Farm in Summerfield, NC was definitely one to remember.
I love this stunning property which is actually a working horse farm. Undoubtedly it is the perfect place if you’re looking to have an equestrian farm wedding. There are ponds, log cabins, and grassy plains – the possibilities for photos are endless!
The details of the day were a delight to capture. From the vibrant jade green accents to the bold, bright, and colorful flowers – everything was just beautiful! As someone who documents details for a living, there certainly was no shortage of what to choose from. The bar played an integral role throughout the event, which is always a sign of a good party. I loved the drink trailer that was set up to serve guests, it was cute and functional! You’ll notice the couple had fun craft beers on their menu called “Trophy Wife” and “Trophy Husband” from Trophy Brewing. How cute is that? Another fun detail on the bar was the illustration of their dog, Finn!
When the evening came to an end, guests lined up outside to see the couple off and wish them farewell. This exit was so fun as it consisted of bubbles and light wands. Jessie and Matthew were such a fun a sweet couple, their exit was a perfect ending to a perfect day!
