We’ve had a lot of rain this summer especially towards the end of July & beginning of August. I know we were all a little stressed out wondering if the rain would hold off for this wedding.

Thankfully it did just that and it was a gorgeous sunny day with blue skies. When Peggy & Drew came to me about their wedding photography they just wanted a few hours for their simple and sweet day. They wanted me to capture their family & friends enjoying this day with them, because that’s what mattered most. It wasn’t a traditional day for me, but it was still wonderful.

It was so clear how much Peggy & Drew loved each other & how important their family was to them. Drew surprised Peggy with a 15 minute speech which was adoreable and also a song on the jukebox that he snuck in (She had no idea).
