While I am a farm girl through and through, I love when I get the opportunity to shoot cityscapes and skylines. What I love about North Carolina is that our “big” cities still have lots of nature in the background. There’s a reason Raleigh is nicknamed the “City of Oaks”. Charlotte may be dubbed the “Queen City”, but it still offers a variety of foliage that border the city streets. For this downtown Charlotte engagement session, I had the wonderful opportunity to hang out with Grace and Taylor.
We originally were scheduled on another date, but due to weather we had to reschedule. Since the weather was absolutely perfect, it was well worth the wait. We were able to get such a great variety of shots with the skyline showing off. Grace and Taylor looked so stylish and sophisticated in the city, like they were made to be there. I loved their two different outfits, one was casual and one was uptown chic. As gorgeous and stunning as this couple is, the star of the show was their dog, Kodak! I love when couples incorporate their fur babies.
Grace and Taylor, I had so much fun shooting your downtown Charlotte engagement. From strolling the sidewalks to exploring rooftop garages, I loved it all. I can’t wait for your wedding, I hope Kodak will be there!
Engagement sessions are such a fun time for me to get to know my couples before their wedding day. We have such a blast while they get comfortable in front of my camera. If you’re interested in learning about my services, I’d love to chat with you! You can fill out my contact form here.
