Are you on the fence about doing a bridal session?! Well then let me give you 5 reasons as to why YOU SHOULD do a bridal session!

 Here are the top reasons I think you should do bridal portraits:

1. You get comfortable in front of the camera.  It can be uncomfortable if you’ve never been in front of a camera before and to top it off your wedding day can be a bit stressful if you let it. So doing a bridal or (engagement) session beforehand helps you get used to your photographer, learn how we work & you’ll end up looking more natural in front of the camera because of it.
2. Wear that wedding gown you paid so much MONEY for!  You spend so much money on your wedding gown, why not have a session totally devoted to wearing it!  It’ll also be good practice walking around & wearing your dress especially if it’s a ball gown or form fitting. On top of that you can pick a different location then your wedding location, want mountain bridal portraits, perfect you can go to the mountains and do a totally different look then you might wear on your big day. 3. It’s a TRIAL RUN.  You will most likely be getting a hair and makeup trial anyway, so do a trial run- hair, makeup, accessories, veil, dress, bouquet – can make you see exactly how you will look for your wedding day. You’ll be able to see exactly what does (or doesn’t) work, and give you time to change it before your big day.  Also, being able to see exactly how you’ll look in your photos will help give you CONFIDENCE that will make you shine even brighter on your big day!
4. TIME to have FUN & be CREATIVE. A wedding day is crunched for time.  And in some cases you only have an hour if that for bridal photos and that time ticks down pretty quickly. With a bridal session, there is no rush to head to the reception on time, we can be creative, twirl in your dress, whatever you want we have the time to do it. We can be relaxed and stress free.
5. GIFTS: You can give a portrait as a gift to your groom, or parents. You can also display it at your reception which is a tradition to many. Bring your pup especially if they can’t be there on the big day! You’ll also  get that special moment with them & this makes a great gift!
