Western North Carolina is full of charming little towns, which makes living here so fun. I could spend every weekend for several months visiting each one and still not see them all! Undoubtedly, one of my favorites has got to be the town of Blowing Rock. If you’ve ever been there, you know the downtown streets have a “Hallmark movie” charm to them. The little town is lined with shops and restaurants and there are lots of opportunities for great photos. For this reason, Brooke and McLaurin decided to have their engagement session in Blowing Rock!

We enjoyed strolling the streets together on a warm afternoon, finding picturesque spots to snap some photos. Some of my favorite photos were taken at a quaint little gazebo surrounded by flowers. It was a great spot to stop and steal some kisses 😉 Next, we headed to the Blue Ridge Parkway and found a great scenic spot for some breathtaking photos. One thing I know to be true, you can hardly take a bad photo when mountains are in the background. I loved that the cloudy forecast made the mountains appear a little moody.
