I was so excited when Michelle contacted me about being their wedding photographer. Michelle & I actually went to high school together and were teammates on the soccer field as well.

Michelle & her fiance Thomas were troopers & drove from Raleigh to Blowing Rock for their engagement session. We had intended to go up to Asheville area and shoot at Craggy Gardens, but unfortunately winter comes early up in the mountains so we settled for our backup in Blowing Rock at Moses Cone & Thunderhill Overlook. There was no snow or ice, but it was super cold. They did an amazing job & I tried to shoot quckily so that they could get their coats back on ASAP!

These two were so much fun to be around & I loved reminiscing with Michelle about our good ole River View High School days. These two knew when they met back in Myrtle Beach that this was the real deal & you can certainly tell that they are so in love!

I can not wait to photograph their September wedding at the gorgeous Barn at Valhalla in Chapel Hill.
