It’s been a crazy fall up in the mountains, the trees have taken a long time to change colors & sometimes the weather isn’t cooperative. Luckily, on this day it was perfect for Jordan & Brett’s engagement session! Seriously, it couldn’t have been more perfect!

I had such a great time hiking the mountains and getting to know Jordan & Brett more! Jordan had told me that Brett never meets a stranger, well I’d say this was completely true for the both of them, I felt like I had known them forever! Jordan didn’t hold back when I sent her the wedding questionnaire, she is a journalism major & loves to write. It was so evident how much she loves Brett in her writing & in general these two love each other beyond words!

I love how Brett had Jordan giggling the entire session & I’m beyond excited to capture their big day in June!

How they Met:

They met in high school when Jordan was a sophomore and Brett was a senior, but didn’t start dating until her senior year!

The proposal:

As we know things don’t always go as planned! Brett had planned to propose to Jordan on their 4 year anniversary in a HOT AIR BALLOON, but unfortunately that was cancelled 3 times due to weather and Brett couldn’t wait any longer to make Jordan his fiance, so they went to a park in Hickory where they had their first date and under a beautiful Magnolia tree Brett proposed & Jordan of course said YES!
